As a photographer, I’m passionate about creating joyful photographs to help you capture and remember the here and now for years to come. In the digital age I believe in the importance of using photography as invaluable and timeless family memories.
When you schedule a session with Suzette Niess Photography, you can expect a full-service experience, all while having fun and creating meaningful images that you and your loved ones will cherish.
Before your session we will discuss your goals for your images and what you will do with them. We will discuss clothing, backgrounds, and any other creative aspects you would like to include.
Feel free to share any inspiration photos you have. Things to look for in inspiration photos are posing, lighting, composition, facial expressions, etc.
You will also receive a session guide with tips on having a successful session.
I strive to make your session as comfortable as possible. Not sure how to pose or where to look? No problem. I will guide you throughout the shoot and make you and your family (or partner) laugh and get even the shyest individual to crack a smile (I’m determined!). My style is a mix of candid and lightly posed, to show the natural connection and love for the individuals within the photographs.
Let me know if you have favorite music you'd like to listen to while we create your images.
About a week your session, you'll be able to view your personal online viewing gallery where you may select your favorite images for me retouch.
Within a week you may download your polished portraits.
I believe in retouching that enhances your natural features while maintaining an authentic look. My goal is to create professional, polished images that still feel like you. Here’s what you can expect from my retouching process:
Subtle and Natural Enhancements: I will focus on tidying hair, removing blemishes, evening skin tones, and retouching shine, while preserving the natural texture of your skin.
Attention to Detail and Authenticity: I will adjust lighting and fine-tune details to ensure the overall image looks cohesive, sharp, and professional, but will never over-edit or use heavy-handed adjustments that detract from authenticity.
